Hurricane-drive winds tore the roof off a Jacksonville, Florida company on Thursday as a nearby surveillance camera captured the scary scene.
The footage was shot by Secur-Internet Usa, Inc., a video surveillance enterprise, and captured the roof being blown off Cannon’s Towing, which is just all around the corner.
The online video was time stamped at 4:49 p.m. EDT on Thursday, which coincides with tropical storm Elsa and its accompanying supercell thunderstorms ripping as a result of Duval County, Florida, in accordance to the National Weather conditions Provider.
Reps for Cannon’s Towing could not be quickly achieved for comment on Friday.
Jim Youngblood, operator of Secur-Net Usa, reported he’s grateful his team was not hurt in the storm.
“We saw it coming down the road and hunkered down,” Youngblood instructed WTLV, an NBC affiliate in Jacksonville.
“Generally grateful no person was wounded as there had been workforce in the building at the time. The enterprise was created to face up to a Category 3 hurricane so it really is pretty beefed up.”
